Singapore 1 day trip..

Nick and Calvin was going to Singapore for the Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention on the same week I working at JB. And Jason also wanted to tag along with them. So I invite them to stay together with me during the day they at JB. During the stay that on vacation mode, of course beer session is a must.


Had beer session at hotel..

The next day I went to work for the last day and they went to SG. That night we only went out for dinner and thought going to SG at night but cancel due to too late. So just went back to hotel online.

Calvin and Nick went to SG to meet with people. Me and Jason still be pig in the morning. Went to SG after check out. 1st time went to SG. SG always gives me the impression of clean and strict country. Stepped out from the Customs and only find out that actually not that very clean but atleast better than M'sia a lot. Things I like about SG is the MRT and the no-jam-road. Unlike M'sia, the MRT is basically the 1st priority of transportation. Can go around the SG with just the using the MRT.


1st destination was City Hall to meet with Calvin and Nick. After that went to the Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention. After spending for a few hours there, we meet with Mimiko, our tour guide.

Eventhough it was just 1 day trip but overall I was having fun.. Learned and discovered a lot different things.. New experience..

3rd times at Johor Bahru for work..

I like to go JB to work. Not because of the people at there more nice or what. Just that I got friends over there and because of the accommodation. This is the 3rd times I went there for business trip. Trying the hotel there without paying anything, shiok..

Usually I will need to raise a Travel Form to Travel Desk which day and where I'll be and they will find the nearest hotel for me. They usually will give a few options when I go to JB. So, this time I called up my friends and they recommend this great hotel.


Grand Paragon Hotel..

I stayed at Grand Hyatt, The Zon Regency Hotel and other but those are not as grand as the Grand Paragon Hotel. The reception is already enough to amazed me.


The room. As soon as I open the door, I thought I went to the wrong room or the hotel staff are making a wrong arrangement. The room was so big for myself.

As usual, after claimed hotel room will go the the centre to report for my arrival. After that went to City Square to meet with friend that working there for dinner.

The good thing about this sizzling grillstone is that you can cook it yourself. You can control how well you want your meat to be cook.


I like my beef not too well cooked but a bit raw.. Jeng.. Will go back there to eat again if I go to JB again..

Update..

Hmm. Lately just update bout what I did a few months ago. Didn't really update much bout how am I doing. Life, nothing much happen but work has changed quite much. Not from good become more good but from good become worst.

There is a staff reshuffle early of the year. About 1 or 2 year once for the reshuffle will be take part. The main purpose is to change those people that have been stay at 1 place for too long have a new environment for work and to mix it up with other colleague. Our job scope will still be the same but the customers, working environment and colleagues will change.

Working at a different place it quite challenging due to the customer that we face is not same. We will need to learn how to handle different kind of customer. Their attitude will be completely different.

And for me, I still stay at the same place. I dunno should I say lucky or not, those people I face are still the same, mostly are hard to handle and quite irate. Thought it will be going to be hard due to most of the colleague have reshuffle to other places. But turn out, we get quite good together.

But, the worst nightmare came when they try to change the structure of marketing department. Those get higher position will get higher and the senior will promoted. But what if those senior that promoted are those who shaking their leg, work like no work, ask him things like no ask, want to depends on him but will die faster, ask you work for his own good, and etc? Well, here in my working place are having 1 right now. Pain in the ass..

Don't ask me how this kind of people will be promoted. You might need to think about it a bit. Nowadays, the only things that keeping me to go to work in the morning is main for the salary and the colleague only. It's just like you go to school is just to meet your friends, study is for own good, and never for the teacher. That's the life of employee.

This is not the worst yet. The worst is planned since last year but I think it will only happen on me next year. They going to completely change the whole thing upside down. Hoping for a change of job right now. That 1 will be tell on the next post.. Or maybe next next post.. Or might be next next next post.. hehe.. Depends on my mood..

Working at Kluang..

Finally finish all the post for July.. Wakaka.. Working on August and September.. Still got long way to go..

I was sent to Kluang for 2 days of working. It's was my first time went there. It took me bout 3 and a half hour driving at 80-100kmh on rainy day.. Reached and headed to the Prime City Hotel to check in. The hotel is quite easy to find coz not much high building around.

The 1st day, nothing to do. Just went to the centre to inform my arrival and to see how they operate the place over there coz I'll be work alone for 2 days. Luckily saw someone I knew.

The 1st day of work really boring. No one to chat to. Thought after work will be okay. Finished work around 9.30pm. Can go search for makan makan place. Drove around the town but.. Most of the shop, restaurant and stall also closed. Damn.. Luckily KFC still open. My dinner for that night.

2nd day, start to get along with the other people. Almost fight with an unreasonable uncle that dun listen to what people said. Luckily his wife was there to stop us. If not I dunno what would happen. CB uncle..

Then at nite Koo bring me to eat dinner. Most of the people will go there eat coz not much place open until so late and there a lot choices of food.. Forgot what is the place name. Located at the other side that I thought is housing area only.


Something like Penang Lobak.. It was quite hard for a banana like me to order food there. Most of them are in Chinese. Not even a single English.

The last day before go back to Kl, went to the PC fair for a look. It was kind of small like just at the normal IT shopping place at Sg.Wang only. Not much shop taking part. Probably around 10 shop only..
