Restaurant Siu Siu On Livvy Birthday..

Livvy birthday fall on 17th on June and decided to go to Restaurant Siu Siu near by Thean Hou Temple for the dinner. Livvy and Uncle Kooi has mention bout the Claypot Crab Rice but not really have to chance to eat at there. Due to it is Livvy birthday and they decided to eat at there. Livvy, Uncle Kooi, Sherveen, Hooi, SuitMay and me are who went there.






Steamed Lala. Not bad but the Steamed Lala at Restaurant Boston Baru at Klang more delicious.

Sweet and Sour Steamed Fish. Nice. Eat the rice with the sauce and you can eat more rice.


Claypot Crab Rice. Too bad they ard stirred it. If not can take the crab that still inside the claypot. The rice is full with crab aroma. Jeng.


Suddenly a small twister came and attack the claypot and the rice inside it keep on turning..


The crab that ard took out from the claypot. The crab is big and delicious. Jeng.


Butter Prawn. Also recommened. Jeng.


Char Siu. This is the most delicious Char Siu that I ever eat. Jeng!! At 1st I was wonder why a restaurant like this have char siu. And now I know why. Coz it is very jeng.. In the end we order another plate.

Hatyai Trip Day 2..

Finally the last post for the Hatyai trip. Early in the morning we went to the morning market nearby..

After the breakfast we went to have more walking and shopping before going to the last destination






Jeng! But didn't eat. It need to be cook with chili before eat, according to the seller.

After that it's almost noon and we back to hotel to wash up and prepare to check out. Rented our last van to our final destination before send us back to the border. Our final destination is Wat Pah Koh Suwanaram "Luang Poh Thong".

Luang Phor Thong (Archan Thong). A holy monk that can foresee people's future, cure black magic, business prediction and many unforesee power. Even though he's passed away but they said his hair is still growing. Livvy and Uncle Kooi said it is longer than the time when they came here 2 years ago..



The van driver (Ken) is the driver that Livvy and Ucnle Kooi know know each other on their last visit. He is a Thai that can speak Cantonese, Hokkien and most importantly, English. You will find it hard to communicate with Thai if you don't Hokkien just like me. Then Ken brought us to eat delicious Hor Fun.


Inside the restaurant. Actually it is like a house also. It's look like a living room to me.


Then the front door is the kitchen. It's feel like you are waiting for your dinner at home.


The fishball are are really small but delicious.

Then we headed back to the border and check out. Do you guys know that we need to put some notes inside the passport? If not then the officer will ask from you. The funny thing is back that time I didn't put and they straight away ask me for it. They suppose to take my pic at the counter but after I gave them, they didn't even take it and ask me to remove my sun glasses and chop on my passport. So efficient after take the bribe.

Reached home bout 3am and need to work the next day. Tiring but we had fun on this trip.

Hatyai Trip Day 1 Part 2..

After we visit Hatyai Municipal Park. We went back to hotel to take some rest and wash up. Planned our dinner and after dinner activities with the Tuk Tuk driver. Bout 15 mins ride and we reach the place.

We are going to watch this.. Show plus dinner only RM40 per person.






The dinner with Tomato Sauce Fish, Fried Taufu, Mixed Vege and Tom Yam.. Quite delicious. Inside the hall got bout 50 tables but only bout 10 plus tables that filled up with tourists that eating the same dish. It's a fixed menu dinner.


Same as usual. I'll be the last one to finish all the food.


After the dinner we are directed to another hall of stage to wait for the show to start.

The last show..

All of the ah gua at stage for the final show..

After the show, all the ah gua will be waiting at the main entrance and fighting with each other for the tips. Looking at them fighting for the tips really pity them. It's okay if they fight for the tips and then share fairly among they self but it's not. So it's quite not fair to those who din get much tips. According to the tuk tuk driver, their salary perday is 100 baht(RM10). So that's y they will fight for the tips.

After that we went back to Lee Garden Plaza Hotel for the nite market. And drop by at the massage center for foot massage. Then they went back to hotel to sleep and I went to Kiss Channel to join Charlie and his friend at the club.

Around 1am plus we back to our hotel. The street at nite are full with motorcycle rider that rounding around. They said later at nite will got illegal racing at the street. Sounds like fun. But still have to go back to hotel and sleep coz need to wake up early the next morning.

Hatyai Trip Day 1 Part 1..

Finally.. Finally the part 1 of the Haytai trip is done. Went to Hatyai with Livvy, Uncle Kooi, Dexter and Sherveen. Actually Charlie also going but he went there with his friend. We went there with car.

Our journey start at 10.30pm. Stopped at Ipoh for supper around 2am. And then reach Bukit Kayu Hitam around 5.15am. Sat down a while for teh tarik because the immigration checkpoint open at 6am. Parked car at The Zone- duty free parking and rented a van to go Hatyai.

Reached Lee Gardens Plaza. We are suppose to stay at Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel. Booked room online but they never confirm anything or reply us. Then only found out that it is fully booked due to that day is Thailand's King birthday and Malaysia Public Holiday. Saw a lot Malaysian there, drive their own car, by bus or van. The service from Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel really not so good. At least should have reply us.

At last we manage to get 2 room at Diamond Plaza Hotel. Drop bags and changed.




Dexter and Sherveen in from of Diamond Plaza Hotel. The room not bad. Quite okay. Equipped with safety box, tv, refrigerator and the most important is bathtub. Jeng..


1st stop is to Samila Beach, Songkhla City to eat our lunch.

While me and Livvy busy 'trying hard' to order food, Dexter, Sherveen and Uncle Kooi busy taking pic at the beach..

After that have our lunch there. The lunch is okay. Not to say bad or good. Just average. Not full enough then I go to eat the leaf as well..

The Sculpture of The Mouse and The Cat.


A legend says that a dog, a cat and a mouse on a Chinese sampan stole the merchant’s magic crystal and tried to swim ashore but drowned and lost their lives. The mice and cats became the islands in the Songkhla Lake while the dog died on shore and became the hill called Hin Khao Tang Kuan near the bay. The crystal was totally destroyed and became the white sandy beach called Hat Sai Kaeo. Something like that la in the story..




The best thing bout this trip is that we have a cameraman(Uncle Kooi) that willingly take pic and force us to pose sometime. That's why you will see us pose a lot.. Wakaka..


I don't know why Dexter looking at Sherveen butt for what laughing evilly.. Haha..
